This itinerary is designed to introduce you to the delights of the Marlborough wine region, as well as exploring further afield in nearby Nelson and the golden sands of the Abel Tasman National Park. As this is very much a wine-lover's delight, we have included complimentary bottles of wine at each of the three locations, allowing you to sample the different styles of the regions. In Picton we have also secured a complimentary night's accommodation, allowing us to offer a saving of £70 per person.
Day 1: Arrive in Picton and spend four nights at charming Sennen House. Day 2: A day to explore the stunning Marlborough Sounds and the surrounding waterways. A complimentary bottle of sauvignon blanc will await you at the end of the day. Day 3: A day to explore the superb wineries and restaurants of the Marlborough region. Day 4: A further day to explore, perhaps taking in a section of the famous Queen Charlotte Track. Day 5: Pick up a rental car and make the short drive to the pretty city of Nelson. Enjoy accommodation at Bronte Lodge, on the coast just outside the city. Day 6: A day to explore Nelson and its superb arts trail. A complimentary bottle of Bronte Estate pinot noir or chardonnay will await you at the end of the day. Day 7: Continue along the coast to the edge of the Abel Tasman National Park and enjoy two nights at The Resurgence, nestled in the native bush. Day 8: A day to explore the golden sands and bush trails of the Abel Tasman. A complimentary bottle of local wine will await you at the end of the day. Day 9: End your journey in Nelson, or journey south to the coast to continue your explorations.
